For superior holding power, durability, and ecological good sense, step up to the permanent fixed marina and dock anchors by Chapman Marine Inc. James Chapman, the owner, is a former deep-sea diver who came to the Highland Lake area in 1985 to manage Lake Travis Marina and Lodges. During his 19 years in the region, he developed and produced a viable alternative to the old style "drop and forget" anchors. As he witnessed the area lakes go through wild levels of fluctuation, and the many marinas and private boat docks had to be moved into deeper water, he quickly realized that those concrete filled barrel anchors were not so easily forgotten. |

The answer came in his patented Intergrip Rock Anchoring System, which is perfect for the limestone ledges, steep slopes, and flat hard rock bottoms common to many lakes. For a detailed look at the anchoring system, click here. |

The Chapman Marine Inc. Inner Lock Anchor System is drilled into the earth, to a depth of 10', set and then load tested to a holding capacity of 12,000 LBS. Chain is used directly off the anchor with cable being used along the main runs from anchor to marina winch. Commercial divers drill these anchors into place, with anchors routinely being set in over 100' of water. The anchors are set at such a distance from the marina or boat dock, to insure that the projected minimum and maximum levels of the lake are considered, and no further anchor movement is necessary. |

If your marina or private dock is located in a a cove, and your dead weight anchors keep shifting and moving during high winds, or even sliding down the slopes, let us set permanent innergrip anchors on the slope and hold your dock firmly on the heaviest wind. |

When the lake levels are low and those old dead weight type anchors pose a hazard to navigation, consider replacing them with the Inner Lock Anchor System. You will appreciate the safety of a flexible chain hugging the lake bed and know you have provided maximum clearance for boat traffic. |
